Daraa, SANA-Daraa Governor Anwar al-Zoubi and Head of Office, OCHA Syria, Joseph Inganji, discussed the situation of families arriving from sweida Governorate to Daraa in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Dr. Ahmed Qaziz.
During the meeting, al-Zoubi stressed the importance of a rapid and effective response to provide shelter and essential services to these families, emphasizing the need for coordination between various parties to ensure safe and equitable access to aid.
The discussions also covered the possibility of establishing new temporary shelters to accommodate those arriving from sweida Governorate to Daraa, as part of efforts to enhance joint humanitarian efforts to meet their basic needs.
This meeting comes within the framework of joint humanitarian efforts between government agencies and international organizations to secure the basic needs of expatriates, provide a safe environment that guarantees their dignity, and meet their living requirements until permanent solutions to their humanitarian situation are found.
