Ankara, SANA- Ankara, SANA- President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Rifat Hisarciklioglu, said that the rapid economic recovery in Syria is important to enhance security and stability in the country, expressing Turkey’s readiness to build or develop the Syrian Chambers of Commerce system.
According to Anadolu Agency, Hisarciklioglu explained in a speech during “the Turkish-Syrian Round Table Meeting” in Ankara, that Turkish companies are keen on working in Syria, and that the most difficult period in Syria has passed, and stability has begun to prevail again.
Hisarciklioglu pointed out the importance of establishing investment and business infrastructure, ensuring security, and benefiting from the Turkish experience, indicating that the conditions for trade and mutual investment between Syria and Turkey are constantly improving, and that the Turkish business world fully supports the approach that gives priority to Syrian territorial integrity.
The discussions between the Syrian economic delegation headed by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar and the Turkish Minister of Trade, Omer Bolat, , in the Turkish capital, Ankara, today, focused on ways and mechanisms to develop a road map for strategic economic and trade cooperation, which will reflect positively on the economic situation in the two countries as more than 10 agreements were signed between institutions in the two countries.
