Humanitarian relief convoy heads to Sweida to support affected families

Daraa, SANA- A 40- truck humanitarian convoy carrying food and relief supplies, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre arrived Wednesday at Busra al-Sham humanitarian corridor in Daraa Governorate to be distributed in to Sweida.

“The convoy includes huge quantities of food parcels and essential supplies that meets urgent living needs, and contributes in alleviating the burdens on the most affected families, in cooperation with relevant authorities and humanitarian organizations working on the ground” sources supervising the process told SANA.

“The aid convoy will continue its way to Sweida in the coming hours as expected”, the sources said adding that it comes within continued efforts to ensure humanitarian for needy people and as a part of Arabic solidarity with the Syrian people.
It reflects the joint efforts among the local and international parties to fulfill the urgent needs in the affected areas, the sources added.
