Damascus, SANA- A delegation from the Turkish Anadolu Agency visited Tuesday the headquarters of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Damascus with the aim of enhancing media cooperation between the two sides.
Anadolu delegation that included Faruk Tokat, International News Chief Editor, Yaser Emre International News Coordinator, and Damascus Bureau Director Mohammad Kara Bajak, toured SANA’s departments and was briefed on technical and editorial developments at the agency during previous months.
Director General of the Syrian Arab News Agency, Ziad Al-Mahamid briefed the delegation on the agency’s future work strategy and the ongoing preparations for the new launch. He also pointed out the agency’s interest in renewing cooperation with Anadolu Agency and expanding its editorial services in multiple languages, including Turkish.
For his part, Tokat expressed Anadolu Agency’s readiness to strengthen its partnership and coordination with SANA, stressing the importance of this visit in opening new horizons for media cooperation between the two countries.
