Damascus-SANA- Director of the American Affairs at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Qutaiba Idlbi, said that the true criterion of unity is actions that are embodied on the ground, noting that Damascus will remain open to anyone who wants serious dialogue and joint action.
‘Talking about unity and rejection of partition wouldn’t be equal while conferences are held on sectarian and ethnic grounds, and symbols of the former regime are re-exported under new names’’ Idlbi said in a post on the (X) platform.
He added ”the true criterion for unity is the actions that are embodied on the ground, the entitlements that are built on the land of Syria and among its people, and commitment to a comprehensive national project that rejects tyranny and its symbols, and addresses “the wounds of ethnic and sectarian conflict instead of strengthening them.”
Idlbi explained that’’ Damascus remains open to anyone who wants serious dialogue and joint action aimed at bringing Syria to a better future worthy to all its people’’.
