Damascus, SANA-The national campaign “Cleanliness is Culture” was launched across various provinces of Syria, with broad participation from ministries and state institutions, alongside volunteer teams and civil initiatives.
The campaign was organized by the Ministry of Culture, aiming to boost cleanliness as a daily behavior that reflects national belonging and contributes to building a new Syria.
Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin al-Saleh stated to SANA that culture begins in the details of daily life. He emphasized that Syria, having regained its vitality, needs collective efforts to preserve its beauty and facilities, noting that Saturday will become a permanent national day for Syria’s cleaning campaign.
He added that the campaign aims to expand into spreading cleanliness as a civilized behavior that reflects self-discipline and inner purity, a step toward promoting ethical principles and positive practices in society.
