Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Interior announced that it had monitored the disturbing video circulating on social media, which was reportedly filmed inside the National Hospital in Sweida earlier.
The ministry said in a statement on Sunday: “We condemn and denounce this act in the strongest terms, and we affirm that the perpetrators will be held accountable and brought before the judiciary to receive their just punishment, regardless of their affiliations.”
The ministry explained that Interior Minister Anas Khattab has assigned Assistant for Security Affairs Major General Abdul Qader al-Tahan to directly supervise the investigation to ensure the perpetrators are identified and arrested as quickly as possible.
