Internal Security in Aleppo forms investigation committee into death of a detainee at police station

Aleppo, SANA- Head of the Internal Security in Aleppo city, Colonel Mohammad Abdel Ghani, announced on Monday the formation of an investigation committee into the circumstances of the death of a detainee at Kallaseh police station.

“After receiving a report about the death of a young detainee at Kallaseh police station, the body was referred to forensic medicine to accurately determine the reason behind the death.” Abdel Ghani told SANA.

He added that  a specialized investigative committee was immediately formed to follow up on the incident and uncover its circumstances with full transparency, in preparation for taking legal action against any party found to be negligent or involved in the case.
