Daraa, SANA- The ninth humanitarian convoy, consisting of 21 trucks carrying medical supplies, food assistance, and fuel, entered Sweida Governorate on Tuesday via Bosra al-Sham crossing, as part of ongoing efforts to help families address humanitarian and livelihood challenges.
The shipment included food baskets, bottled drinking water, quantities of flour, tankers with petroleum derivatives, and seven kidney dialysis machines to support the health sector in the governorate.
The aid was delivered under the patronage of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), with contributions from the Lebanese Red Cross, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Separately, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with support from the UNHCR, the Qatari Red Crescent, and the Danish Red Cross, distributed humanitarian assistance yesterday in several villages across Sweida countryside, targeting the most vulnerable families.
