Winners in 2015 Special Olympics World Games granted financial awards

Damascus, SANA – The General Sports Federation has granted financial awards to the athletes who won medals in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games that was held in Los Angeles city in California, the USA last July.

The award is worth SYP 300, 000.

The Syria team won over six gold medals, six silvers and two bronzes in the Games that saw the participation of 6,500 athletes and 2,000 coaches representing 165 countries.
