Syria wins against UAE in West Asian Championship

Doha, SANA – The Syrian Olympic football team beat its UAE counterpart 2-1 in its first match at West Asian Under 23 Championship on Thursday.

The competitions take place in the Qatari capital Doha from September 30 to October 14.

The Syrian team, playing in Group 3, will play its second match next Wednesday against the Omani team.
