Aleppo Governor, ICRC delegation discuss relief aid in Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA – Aleppo’s governor Mohammad Marwan al-Olabi on Thursday discussed with head of the commission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Syria Marianne Gasser the situation of the aid work in the province and means of boosting cooperation.

Gasser said the ICRC commission in Syria is working on providing humanitarian and health aid and rehabilitating the infrastructure, expressing thanks to the Syrian government for supporting and facilitating the ICRC work.

For his part, al-Olabi stressed the governorate’s keenness on providing all facilitations to the humanitarian institutions in the province.
