Jordanian cabinet approves “Higher Coordination Council” with Syria

Amman, SANA – The Jordanian Cabinet approved Wednesday the memorandum of understanding which was signed with the Syrian government last month to establish and activate the Higher Coordination Council between the two countries.

The Jordanian News Agency (Petra) quoted the cabinet as saying in a statement following its session that the memorandum, which was signed during the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and the ministerial delegation to Damascus on May 20, aims to establish a joint work agenda and enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
