Damascus, SANA-For the third consecutive day, Syrians continued their celebrations marking the launch of the new visual identity of the Syrian Arab Republic. Saturday evening, Abbasiyyin Square in Damascus hosted a large-scale public event attended by thousands of men, women, children, and expatriates, who waved flags and chanted slogans for Syria’s freedom and its people.
The celebration featured a spectacular drone light show, depicting the Syrian Eagle, the map of Syria with the revolution’s flag, and iconic historical and archaeological landmarks from across the country. The display also included the slogans “We Are All with the White Helmets” and “Syria for All Syrians,” culminating in the formation of the Syrian Eagle—the new national emblem.
Yasser al-Mousalli, founder of Skyvertise, the company behind the visual production, told SANA that the show featured 500 drones illuminating the skies over Abbasiyyin Square. He noted that this event was a continuation of the nationwide celebrations of Syria’s new visual identity and aimed to share this joyful moment with provinces across the country.
Al-Mousalli added that the enthusiastic response from Syrians has energized the organizing teams, motivating them to continue their efforts with even greater dedication.
Citizens interviewed by SANA expressed their joy at the launch of the new visual identity, describing it as a powerful representation of Syria to the world and a symbol of national unity. They voiced hopes for prosperity and progress in the next chapter of Syria’s future.
