Baghdad, SANA – Iraq condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries and significant material damage.
The Iraqi News Agency reported that Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani condemned in a joint statement the Israeli entity’s bombing of sites in the capital Damascus, describing it as a serious violation of Syria’s sovereignty.
Through the statement, they stressed the need to support regional and international efforts to prevent the expansion of the conflict, spare the region the repercussions of the war, work to stop the aggression on Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and deliver humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people besieged in the Strip.
