Kuala Lumpur, SANA – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on the Syrian capital, Damascus, describing them as a “violation of Syria’s sovereignty” that resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
The Malaysian News Agency quoted Ibrahim as saying in a statement on Thursday: “These raids constitute a clear violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Resolution between Syria and Israel.”
The statement added: “Syria has endured tremendous hardships over the past decade, and its people deserve peace, not further violence and external interference.”
