Ankara, SANA-Ten firefighters were died and 14 others were injured as they battled to contain a wildfire in in Eskisehir’s Seyitgazi district central Turkey.
According to the “Turkey Today” website, Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli explained that 24 firefighters were trapped in the fire , 14 of them survived, while 10 others died. He expressed his sorrow and condolences to the families of the victims.
Firefighters and rescue teams have been battling since Tuesday to contain a wildfire in Eskisehir’s Seyitgazi district. Information indicates that seven fires are still burning in five provinces in central and western Türkiye as of yesterday.
