Daraa, SANA-Daraa Governor Anwar al-Zoubi hold a meeting Sunday with several representatives of international humanitarian organizations to assess the worsening humanitarian situation facing families arriving from countryside of Sweida Governorate, and to explore rapid response mechanisms to the crisis.
In the meeting, Participants discussed immediate intervention priorities, including the provision of shelter, food, and healthcare services. They also reviewed long-term strategic plans aimed at alleviating the suffering of affected families and strengthening the ability of host communities to absorb and support them.
As a practical step, Daraa Governorate announced the formation of a special emergency committee to follow up on the status of incoming families and ensure adequate support is provided in line with international humanitarian standards, in cooperation with relevant local and international bodies.
