New York, SANA- The Group A3+ (Algeria, Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Guyana), called on international community to end repeated Israeli violations against Syria.
“We condemn in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression on Syrian territory in violation of international law, including the UN Charter”, Algerian News Agency quoted the group as saying in a statement delivered by UN Algeria’s Permanent Representative during Security Council session, underlining the necessity for full commitment of the disengagement agreement 1974.
The statement added “The occupied Golan is Syrian territory under international law, as stated in Security Council Resolution No.497, as we call on international community to put an end to Israeli aggression on Syrian territory, in addition to the full withdrawal from the occupied territories.
The Group 13+ also reiterated support for a Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political process, calling on regional and international communities to exert more efforts to ensure Syria’s recovery and achieve sustainable development, according to the statement.
