Amman, SANA-Jordan’s King Abdullah II and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stressed the importance of preserving Syria’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
During a phone call with British Prime Minister, King Abdullah stressed the need to immediately end the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and allow the flow of relief aid to all areas to alleviate the suffering of the people of the Strip, Petra News Agency said.
He highlighted the need to reach a ceasefire in Gaza as Jordan continues coordination with brotherly and friendly countries to facilitate the entry of aid into the Strip.
King Abdullah II praised the European position in support of ending the war and achieving peace based on the two-state solution.
The call addressed cooperation between Jordan and the United Kingdom to intensify the humanitarian response in Gaza and deliver aid, warning of the danger of escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
