Ankara, SANA- Turkish defense industry secretary Haluk Gorgun announced the successful completion of serial production acceptance tests for the “Siper 1” missile.
Anadolu Agency quoted Gorgun as saying in a post on his account on the Turkish NEXT platform: “An important stage has been passed in the Siper 1 project, with its success in acceptance tests for serial production.”
Gorgun added that the “Siper 1” missile is designed for high-altitude air defense and has become one of the most important strategic security shields thanks to its range, accuracy, and effectiveness against a wide range of targets.
He pointed out that “the Turkish Steel Dome, established with national solutions at the low, medium, and high levels of air defense, is growing stronger by the day,” emphasizing that Turkey aims to establish a fully national air defense network that leaves no loophole in the face of any threat.
