Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates receives Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani received in Damascus, Ms. Stefanie McCollum, Canadian Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic.

During the meeting, Al-Shaibani reviewed with McCollum Syrian- Canadian relations and ways to enhance communication between the two countries on issues of common interest.

Minister Al-Shaibani stressed the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and unity and the need to establish a constructive dialogue based on shared interests and mutual respect.
