Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Health discussed during a workshop with Health Directorates and other medical bodies on Monday the mechanism for implementing the project to automate drug registration and control, as part of an initiative to support the health sector in Syria.
“We aim to establish technical foundations for an integrated scientific project that will benefit the Syrian pharmaceutical industry and advance it,” Dr. Abdo Mahli, Deputy Minister of Health for Pharmaceutical Affairs said during the workshop.
According to Mahli, the automation project aims to enhance transparency and reliability in the drug registration process, simplify administrative procedures which will contribute to increasing work efficiency and improving the quality of services provided in the pharmaceutical sector.
