Syrian, Lebanese Land Transport Committee discuss means of enhancing cooperation in various areas

Damascus, SANA-Syrian, Lebanese Joint Technical Committee for Land Transport discussed on Tuesday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and facilitate the movement of goods and passengers between the two countries.

The meeting addressed the issue of fees imposed on trucks and buses in both countries.

The talks also dealt with developing the infrastructure of the land transport sector and improving the services provided to travelers and shippers, which contributes to supporting trade exchange and facilitating the movement of people and goods through border crossings.
