Daraa, SANA -The Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Qatar Red Crescent, and the Danish Red Cross, distributed humanitarian aid in several villages in the Sweida countryside, targeted the most vulnerable families.
The humanitarian response included delivering essential medicines to the elderly, distributing food and health baskets, canned goods, and bread, in addition to non-food items such as mats, mattresses, blankets, kitchen baskets, and chargers.
This intervention comes as part of a comprehensive plan by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent for humanitarian response in southern Syria, aimed at alleviating suffering and enhancing communities’ ability to adapt to the current economic and social conditions.
