Damascus, SANA – Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh discussed with Bilal Ozdan, the coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in Damascus, the possibility of developing infrastructure and enhancing coordination in emergency response.
The two sides emphasized the importance of rehabilitating a number of response and monitoring centers, particularly in forested areas, and developing coordination mechanisms to expand training programs and provide the ministry’s staff with specialized academic programs under the supervision of Turkish experts in away that contributes to elevating existing cooperation to a strategic partnership.
