Damascus, SANA – Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Mohammad Anjarani, discussed with Secretary-General of the Arab Towns Organization, Abdulrahman al-Asfour, ways to consolidate the presence of Syrian cities in regional and international forums and exchange expertise.
During a meeting held on Monday, the two sides agreed to the participation of all governorates in upcoming urban events and to enhance the efficiency of local councils to ensure the provision of services at the highest quality standards.
The two sides announced the launch of joint training programs and the modernization of decentralized work mechanisms to promote long-term urban growth in Syrian cities.
