Rehabilitation works begin on burns unit at Hama National Hospital

Hama, SANA- Hama National Hospital has begun rehabilitating the burns department, both structurally and by supplying modern medical equipment and supplies, with the aim of improving the quality of its medical services to patients.

Director of the Media Office at Hama Health Directorate Mohammad Masdar, stated to SANA’s reporter that the Burns Unit had long suffered from neglect and deterioration during the defunct regime era, and is now in urgent need of refurbishment and modernization, particularly in the area of sterilization, which was previously almost nonexistent.

He pointed out that the completion of the maintenance work will enable the department to receive and treat patients in accordance with the highest standards and specifications of medical care required.
