Qatari, Turkish Ministers hold talks in Doha on Gaza, Syria

Doha, SANA – Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al Thani met Thursday with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Doha to discuss Gaza, Syria, and strengthening ties, calling for urgent action to end the war in Gaza.

According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials underscored the need to intensify regional and international efforts to end the war in Gaza, ensure the continuous and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid, and secure the release of prisoners and detainees.

The talks also addressed bilateral relations and means of strengthening joint cooperation. Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s support for all initiatives aimed at a peaceful resolution to the Palestinian issue, including the implementation of the two-state solution.
