Jakarta, SANA – Twenty-nine people were injured after a strong earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Reuters quoted the Indonesian Disaster Mitigation Agency as saying that the quake, which occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, shook the Poso Regency and was strongly felt in surrounding areas.
The agency confirmed that all the injured received the necessary medical treatment, while authorities continue to assess the full extent of the damage caused by the earthquake.
